Encouraging mental cans recycling in the Library Commons

What students did: Although there are recycling bins in the Library Commons, they are under-utilized. One student team designed some prompts that reminded users of the importance of recycling placed strategically in the area.

What students found: Over a two-week period, the intervention was found to have increased the metal can recycling rate from 35% to 100%!
